Job Description
Business Analyst
The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between mission stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements and translating them into ServiceNow workflows and technical specifications. The BA creates use cases, process flows, and user stories that align technical solutions with mission objectives. They facilitate requirements workshops, manage backlogs, and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle. The BA also assists in user training, supports UAT cycles, and ensures continuous stakeholder engagement to validate solutions against evolving needs.
Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
5+ years of business analysis experience supporting IT or mission systems.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Tools/Software: ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Excel.
Training and Certifications:
CBAP certification preferred
Agile/Scrum certification highly desirable.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
