Job Description

Windows Server OS Engineering Level 3 or 4:

Level 3:

  • High School Diploma/ GED + 10 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Associates Degree + 8 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Bachelor's degree + 6  years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Master's Degree + 4 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • PhD + 2 years' experience (relevant experience)

Level 4:

  • High School Diploma/ GED + 12 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Associates Degree + 10 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Bachelor's degree + 8 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • Master's degree + 6 years' experience (relevant experience)

  • PhD+ 4 years' experience (relevant experience)

Position Descripton:

  • Develop standardized images for including Windows with enterprise standards and security policies.

  • Collaboration with  all OS stakeholders to ensure server OS build releases are completely  tested and provide a consistent core foundation for applications to be  hosted on.

  • Responsibilities include development of standardized  builds that are remotely deployable using provisioning software, bare  metal servers, and virtual machines.  This includes the development of  customized deployment packages to load all necessary agents,  performance, and platform support needs.

  • The candidate must  have a solid foundational understanding of Microsoft Windows deployment  techniques as well as an understanding of how deployment mechanisms  integration with, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager  (SCCM. Familiarity with configuring secure host baselines, implementing  Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Group Policy, Microsoft  Deployment Toolkit (MDT), and related imaging applications.

High School Diploma + 8 years

Associate's Degree + 6 years

Bachelor's Degree + 4 years

Master's Degree + 2 years

PhD + 0 years

Required Skills:

  • Active   Directory experience Network Group Policy (GPO) build and implementation

  • Worked with Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT) Building VMs and creating VM   templates

Security Clearance:

  • DoD Approved Clearance and Poly
