Are you an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Engineer passionate about the security and defense of the United States? The System Administrator/Network Engineer will support the Test Control Center which hosts the testing and engineering environments, supporting various test configuration baselines in support of the NGA Enterprise T&E Program (TAC).

The Role:

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user-profiles and accounts.

Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

IT support of workstations and the test infrastructure leading up to testing, during transitioning between test configurations, and during test windows.

Perform installation, configuration, updates, and support of applications that are part of TAC internal support environment.

Submit Online Software Whitelist Assurance Process (SWAP) requests for evaluation software as appropriate; obtain, install and support software as appropriate.

Calibrate monitors for evaluation workstations in compliance with all applicable standards, guidelines, and instructions.

Manage and maintain Outlook mail groups and security groups.

Create and manage Active Directory distribution and security groups.

Systems administration and network support to the TAC mission environment and servers.

Provide file system management services to include: file management support, and folder and file permissions/restrictions control.

Provide SharePoint support and administration for file management
Experience:

11-14 Years with High School, 5-8 Years with BS/BA, or 3-6 Years with MS/MA

Salary: $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 /year
