SCCM Patching Analyst

Job Description:

Support enterprise server and workstation patch management. Acquire newly approved baseline releases from the enterprise, use SCCM, PowerShell, or manual methods to manage and repair SCCM clients to push builds and patches to remote servers and workstations, adhere to configurations, change, and release management procedures, and assist field support technicians with server and workstation patching problems. Assist the team with maintaining a 2.5 or better security vulnerability assessment score from Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for the automated network, configuration, application, and device configuration scanning vulnerability assessment tool.

Job Requirements:


  • 3+ years of experience with acquiring, reviewing, and releasing approved baseline releases, builds, and patches for servers or workstations using automated and manual methodsPhD degree and 4 years of experience with IT

  • Security+ Certification within 90 days of hire

  • Experience with using Microsoft administration tools

  • Experience with using trouble ticketing systems, including Seibel, Remedy, or ServiceNow

  • Experience with following service management concepts, including change management, configuration management, and release management

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • HS diploma or GED and 12 years of experience with IT, AA or AS degree and 10 years of experience with IT, BA or BS degree and 8 years of experience with IT, MA or MS degree and 6 years of experience with IT,
