Job Description
Imagery Analyst II Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) conducts all-source analytic production by interpreting imagery including, but not limited to, visible, infrared, and radar data as well as full motion video for the identification of foreign conventional and unconventional military installations; civilian infrastructure relevant to military capabilities; weapon systems; orders of battle; military equipment and defenses; battle damage assessments; communications; humanitarian efforts.
Job Duties:
Perform OPIR analysis and/or extraction of Features and Events to determine characteristics and activity.
Provide findings via OPIR Portal.
Extract data and input into OPIR databases to assist with analysis.
Interpret OPIR data from extracted Features and Events to support assessments.
Provide technical guidance with regard to OPIR analysis and operations.
Responsible for all response to formal and informal OPIR-related requests for support and request for information.
Produce and disseminate finished OPIR-related Intelligence products.
Provide briefing OPIR products or data as needed
Assist in development or training of OPIR analyst
Build and present OPIR related presentations as requested
Development of OPIR related procedures and documentation
Provide product peer reviews or quality control on OPIR related data as needed.
Education and Experience:
At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
