Corporate Communications Level 4:
Job Description:
Provide internal and external organizational and mass communication consulting to organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders. Based on awareness and understanding of mission and operations tempo, identify and reach out to potential users and user groups. Develop briefings, creating talking points and key messages, and writing articles and newsletters. Research, write, edit, and prepare communications products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings) for internal and external publication. Perform baseline assessments, design a communications approach, and develop products and vehicles. Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for tailored message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages by target audience. Implement and evaluate communication plans and make recommendations, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Years of experience needed, 11-14 Years.
Education needed, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field.
DoD Approved Clearance and Poly.
Experience with providing strategic communications; must have strong news and feature writing skills.
Must have strong editing skills.
Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the Associated Press (AP) style guide.
Knowledge of issues facing NGA, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense.
Knowledge of NGA, functions, products and technologies.
Must demonstrate strong data gathering and analytical skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to lead team and manage work supporting senior/executive government officials under tight deadlines.
Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable deliverables for the client.
Ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and facilitate workforce engagement events, including all-hands, ceremonies and brown bags, as needed.
