Job Description
This is a future position that may come open but is not open at the present moment. We are willing to prescreen personnel for these positions if you are interested.
Training Specialist Level 5:
Prepares and/or conducts training programs, teaches classes, holds seminars and discussion groups.
Designs, develops, organizes, and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel.
Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
Creates teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods.
Guides the successful completion of major training programs and may function in a project leadership role.
Develops highly advanced training solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Applies highly advanced knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials.
Provides highly advanced knowledge in identifying training needs and recommends highly advanced training solutions by working with business leaders and critical stakeholders.
Provides advanced knowledge and guidance on the structure and improvements of the on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees.
Develops highly advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant and highly advanced training trends and technology.
Education and Experience:
HSD/GED+14yrs
Associates+12yrs
Bachelors+10yrs
Masters+8yrs
PhD+6yrs
NOTE: Relevant professional certifications will be considered equivalent to six (6) months of relevant experience.
Training:
Incident Detect Team Members: GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON) or equivalent / Splunk Core Certified User / DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Analyst (CND-A) Baseline Certification.
Incident Response Team Members: GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON) or equivalent / Splunk Core Certified User / DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Incident Responder (CND-IR) Baseline Certification
Defense Countermeasure Team Members: GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON) or equivalent DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Infrastructure Support (CND-IS) Baseline Certification
Malware Analysis Team Members: GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) or equivalent DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Analyst (CND-A) Baseline Certification
Cyber Defense Fusion Team Members: GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or equivalent DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Analyst (CND-A) Baseline Certification
Security Auditing Team Members: DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M IAT Level III Baseline Certification DoDD 8140/DoD 8570.01M CNDSP Auditor (CND-AU) Baseline Certification
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to take a polygraph if needed
