Job Description
Technology Targeting Specialist 125-035
Position Description:
The contractor shall conduct Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) activities IAW Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5240.05, USCENTCOM command policies and SOPs governing the employment of TSSC tactics, techniques, and procedures.
In support of this subtask, the contractor shall:
Update and maintain a database for electromagnetic/Radio Frequency (RF), power-line, and network baselines for comparative analysis.
Support short notice, planned full/limited scope TSSC surveys; Foreign Visit Program events; gift inspections; and technical evaluations globally.
Detect and analyze signals of interest for RF, power-line, telephony, and digital information infrastructure.
Collaborate with the DoD TSSC enterprise, servicing law enforcement agencies, and network defenders; provide Cl support to cybersecurity.
Analyze all signals of interest gathered via in place monitoring system (IPMS) to determine the threat.
Evaluate current/future TSSC equipment and produce information paper on the functionality, limitations, and executability of locally stored equipment.
Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate identified deficiencies.
Provide complex physical and technical security SME support to facilities under construction, provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements, recommend countermeasures to mitigate technical hazards and vulnerabilities, and log them into an incident tracker/spreadsheet.
Prepare technical risk assessment products, TSSC reports of survey, AARs, tailored briefings, and other administrative quarterly communication necessary to support the mission.
Ensure all required reports are completed within established time frames, with minimal to no errors.

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
Experience
Required: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Desired: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Desired: Minimum Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
