Job Description
Business Development Coordinator:
The Business Development (BD) Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a broad array of tasks across the team, including monitoring, tracking, and researching opportunities. The BD Coordinator will report to the Director of Business Development with regular collaboration and coordination with other members of the team on specific tasks. The preferred location for this role is in the Belle Fourche SD area.
This position is entry level and the selected candidate will receive training on the policies, processes, and tools required for business development. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-directed team player with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality to accelerate new business growth. The qualified candidate must thrive in an environment where they are supporting a team of Business Development professionals across multiple pursuits and proposals.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies; regularly interact with the team; display a high degree of attention to detail; and successfully operate across multiple projects.
Successful characteristics include: detail-oriented, organized, and analytical approach; a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, diligence and commitment to the company; and great communication skills
Learn and support the business development team in capture, business development, and proposal development activities. .
Learn and support our proposal development and simplify access to prior proposal materials.
Develop schedules and assist the team in working through the business development and proposal process.
Coordinate and respond to teaming data calls and past experience requests. He or she will coordinate teammate proposal writing assignments and graphics as necessary.
Learn, use and understand various acquisition tools to discover new opportunities and present to the team.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and task-oriented “follow-through” execution skills.
Confidence and experience dealing across teams; ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, time-sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.
Ability to leverage Google and other search capabilities to find answers.

Excellent writing, editing, and communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) a huge plus.
Ability to create and use graphics to enhance written content and presentations.
Ability to work on multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to coordinate and work with multiple project managers and stakeholders.
Ability to create and manage production schedules.
Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Commitment to high quality work and a strong attention to detail.
