Job Description
Senior Principal Cyber System Engineer:
Candidate will perform implementation-focused systems engineering associated with synchronizing new and existing systems for DIA with emphasis on modernization of data models and REST API interfaces. The Candidate will need to have experience performing systems engineering associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing Big Data analytic systems for MARS using an Agile DevSecOps process.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with RDBMS data models
Experience with AWS services and well-architected framework
Experience with REST APIs, microservices architectures, and OpenAPI specification
Systems integration experience,
Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Linux Environments
Experience with Git for Source Control
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience
Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience
PhD with 4 years of relevant experience
an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
Desired:
Geospatial engineering experience
DIA/DoD experience
Experience with AWS RDS, PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL
Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably Java
Experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions
Required Clearance:
TS//SCI with CI Polygraph
