Senior Network & Computer Systems Administrator (Senior Principal Cyber Systems Administrator):
Candidates will be working to support the transformation of all-source analysis with location-based object services. Visualizing and recreating the tools to assist analysts with protecting our nation. We also have positions available in Northern Virginia.
Senior Level:
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
Position Description:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Experience:
10+ Years’ experience
Bachelor of Science degree
Requirements Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator:
Systems administrator supporting MARS Scrum Team 1
Performs systems management and systems administration activities including technical planning; estimating and provisioning resources to support development of MARS
Participates in software development activities to ensure necessary resources are identified, defined, and made available when needed.
Manages and administers the MARS infrastructure (e.g., platform software and services)
Administers operating system and application accounts
Performs systems, database, security administration
Supports the RMF ATO process by providing system and security-relevant inputs to the System Security Plan
