Job Description
Data Scientist Level 2:
We have additional positions available in Sterling, VA, Colorado City, CO, and Louisiana.
Skills and Tasks - Complex:
Develops new concepts and processes.
Analyzes root causes and resolves issues.
Supports more junior level technicians and specialists in their activities.
Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists.
Leadership/Management:
Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and may also lead a task, project or team.
Guidance:
Requires guidance and direction from more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers only when dealing with new, uncertain situations.
Provides guidance to lower level technicians and specialists.
Standard Characteristics:
Experience working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
Mines and analyzes data from databases to drive optimization and improvement of the customer missions and business strategies.
Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Develops custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Uses predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
Develops organizational A/B testing framework and tests model quality.
Coordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Develops processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

HS +8 Yrs
AD +6 Yrs
BD +4 Yrs
MD +2 Yrs
PHD +0 Yrs
Training and Certifications:
DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required and IT environment specified within the task order.
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI poly
