Watch Center Regional Lead:
Oversees the regional IC SCC Watch Division in Colorado providing 24x7x365 IC-wide situational awareness of Computer Network Defense (CND), IDMT coordination, and threat awareness/response. Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of IC IE architectures, systems, and networks. The ideal candidate will have experience in watch centers and leading teams of at least 8-10 individuals.
Provide incident case management and response support to ensure threat vectors are captured.
Provide community- and customer-facing support, collaboration, and communication of events.
Provide defensive community coordination and escalation of widespread community cyber activities as part of the coordinated response process (CRP) exercises.
Develop and maintain procedures and issuances for updates and changes to existing Incident Response guidelines.
Fuse information assurance data, reported incidents, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities with open-source and all-source intelligence.
Provide formal notification to appropriate personnel after the discovery or awareness of a cyber security event.
Attend watch syncs and proactively engage with other federal cyber centers.
Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and leads multiple tasks, projects or teams.
Oversees and monitors team performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma + 10 years
Associate's Degree + 8 years
Bachelor's Degree + 6 years
Master's Degree + 4 years
PhD + 2 years
Ability to produce written intelligence products and brief counterparts and senior officials.
Experience working jointly with IC departments and agencies.
Familiarity with IC networks and operations.
Experience managing competing priorities under strict guidelines while maintaining customer service.
