Storage Engineer Level 3:
IC-CAP is looking for a Storage Engineer Level 3 with familiarity of technologies such as but not limited to Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), object-based storage, cloud storage, remote replication, data migration, hierarchical storage management and emerging storage technologies such as but not limited to 3D NAND, Erasure Coding, and non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe) to develop a roadmap for DIA's future storage infrastructure. The candidate will engineer solutions for storage devices and backup technologies. You will also be automating data share management, data access management, file share ownership, and user/group access reporting system. We have additional positions available in Sterling, VA, Colorado City, CO and Louisiana.

Understands and applies more advanced concepts and processes to daily activities.
Assists more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities.
Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists.
Works individually and also actively participates on integrated teams.
Requires minimal guidance and direction from more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers.
Provides guidance to lower level technicians and specialists.
Install, operate and maintain network and storage appliances
Install patches and perform system updates
Manage storage allocation, space, and replication strategies
Analyze and resolve problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions
Troubleshoot and restore complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks
Recover data when required
Provide recommendations on storage upgrades and supports project integration as required.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma + 6 years
Associate's Degree + 4 years
Bachelor's Degree + 2 years
Master's Degree + 0 years
Training and Certifications:
DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required and IT environment specified within the task order.
