Job Description:
SharePoint Administrator manages and oversees all SharePoint Administration and Knowledge Management services and partners closely with leaders and stakeholders within the Enterprise Communications Services organization by providing a reliable product through the management, maintenance, and reporting of the Microsoft SharePoint tool.
Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and oversee all activity pertaining to the management of the team’s SharePoint portal.
Demonstrate a passion for quality, data accuracy, and cross-collaboration with stakeholders and various teams within the organization.
Maintain records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity.
Add users, control access to document libraries, and manage permissions.
Provide technical support and guidance for SharePoint users.
Collaborate with management to strategize the most efficient ways to apply SharePoint to meet business’s goals and mission objectives.
Demonstrate specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint.
Demonstrate proficiency at consolidating data from numerous sources to create documentation and presentations for management and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritization, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate ideas and lead through influence to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
Excellent understanding of document control, update processes and tools.
Provide ongoing support and enhancement of SharePoint portal by driving alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain dashboards and on-demand reporting to IT leadership team.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an IT service environment, preferably in SharePoint development.
DoD 8570 IAT II.
Extensive knowledge of Windows OS as well as SQL Server, Power BI, Office 365.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
