Job Description
The Systems Engineer position will fulfill the following responsibilities:
Create and maintain requirements, design, and Information Assurance documentation
Become an expert on the system - the tech lead's backup and error check on systems knowledge
Attend meetings for related projects, developing an understanding of those projects’ systems, taking notes, and sharing relevant details with the team Stand in for the tech lead when needed and be able to explain how the system works, the system's functional and performance requirements, connections to external systems, and the CONOPS.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of the degree requirement
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash and Python
Demonstrated understanding of Solutions Architecture and troubleshooting of both COTS and GOTS
Experience with XML schema and relational database maintenance, preferably Postgres
Experience with Linux base systems
TS/ SCI Clearance with CI poly
Desired Qualifications:
Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language
Experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions
Familiarity with IC cloud
Experience with Git for Source Control
Cross-domain Experience
AWS Cloud Experience
AWS Certified Solutions Architecture certification
Security + CE certification
