Job Description
Senior Principal Cyber System Engineer:
The selected candidate will perform implementation-focused systems engineering associated with synchronizing new and existing systems for DIA with emphasis on modernization of data models and REST API interfaces. The candidate will have experience performing systems engineering associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing Big Data analytic systems using an Agile DevSecOps process.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
Experience with RDBMS data models
Experience with AWS services and well-architected framework
Experience with REST APIs, microservices architectures, and OpenAPI specification
Systems integration experience,
Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Linux Environments
Experience with Git for Source Control
TS/SCI
Desired:
IC experience.
Experience with AWS RDS, PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL.
Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably Java.
Experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions.
