Schedule Analyst Senior Level 3:
The Senior Schedule Analyst will work with Systems Engineers and Program/Project Managers to
provide leadership of schedule management activities for developing schedules, collecting and
reviewing project and program data for updating and maintaining schedules, conducting critical
path analysis, identifying dependencies, conducting ‘What-if?’ analyses, and providing comprehensive visualization/reporting. Provide definition, maintenance and reporting of project/program schedule information. Lead and oversee regular reporting of schedule information to designated review activities and for leadership awareness.
Skill Level: 3 Senior (12+ - 18 years total experience)
2 years of school = 1 year of experience relevant to the PD
2 years of experience relevant to the PD = 1 year of school
Consideration will be given to a strong candidate in a related field; Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, Network Systems Engineer, and Cloud Engineer. In considering someone in a related field all the requirements below must still be met.
Duties may include:
Create, manage, maintain, and operate an automated enterprise schedule activity using government approved schedule tool (e.g. Microsoft Project/Project Server), to allow for the integration and assessment of schedule files and schedule data from Segments and Offices to support the Program schedule.
Lead overall response for Engineering Program meetings both internal and with NGA/NSG, and schedule presentations for projects, programs and activities, by providing reports, Gantt charts, and other visualization products, clearly communicating schedule expectations and/or status.
Identify system development milestones that drive phasing of capabilities to meet enterprise epics or equivalent planning timeframes.
Develop, manage, and maintain connection of strategic-level and enterprise-level effectivities with lower-level Program/Segment/Project effectivities and milestones.
Oversee program/segment/project scheduling, executable technical roadmap development, incremental reviews of schedule milestones and activities, and maintain schedule baselines as directed to ensure an informed enterprise level schedule.
Assure critical path analysis and "what-if" scenarios are available to identify schedule change impacts, associated risk, and develop mitigation plans.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Release Management to facilitate coordinated capability
Work with Enterprise MBSE tools to provide input and extract data.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.
Senior-level experience in IT technical development project or program scheduling experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in management and operation of Microsoft Project and Project Server for definition, maintenance and reporting of project/program schedule information.
Demonstrated previous IC/DoD program/project experience.
Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.
Demonstrated experience in management and operation of Primavera or similar scheduling tool/service for definition, maintenance and reporting of project/program schedule information.
Demonstrated experience in Government or industry in establishing, managing, and/or leading a tool-based, schedule management and reporting process.
Demonstrated experience in Government or industry leading schedule management for developments using traditional or Agile and Scrum based methodology or application of methods.
Project Management Institute-Scheduling Profession Certification (PMI-SP), AACE PSP Certification, or Microsoft Project/Project Server Certification.
Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project experience.
Demonstrated experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as defined by DI-MGMT- 81861 Integrated Program Management Report
