SME Training and Development Specialist (Manager of Technical Training 3):
Candidates will be working to support the transformation of all-source analysis with location-based object services. Visualizing and recreating the tools to assist analysts with protecting our nation. We also have positions available in Northern Virginia.
Master Level:
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
Position Description:
This position will be responsible for implementing technical training courses, facilitating customer visits, and performing lab demonstrations that provide a competitive edge for technical audiences. This will include the delivery of standard and customized training based on field needs and the delivery of new product and technology training in support of field readiness. Administer hands-on tests. The position will also be responsible for helping to create, test, and review new and existing courseware
Experience:
15+ years’ experience
Bachelor of Science degree
Required Skills:
Technical Training Manager responsible for managing and leading development of Program training courses and facilitating training visits CONUS and OCONUS in support of all CLINs
Defines the plans, processes, and methods for coordination and communications with the
Customer stakeholder community including delivery of standard and customized training based on Customer system and product needs and delivery of new product and technology training in support of field readiness
Administers hands-on tests
Supports the creation, test, and review of new and existing Customer courseware, and maintains applicable documentation for Program, including the Enterprise Training Plan and Training Media.llaborates with scrums teams to identify and incorporate training material updates required for new capabilities
Uses Agile principles to create efficiencies in planning and execution of training materials.
