SME Computer Systems Analyst (Staff Cyber System Engineer):
Candidates will be working to support the transformation of all-source analysis with location-based object services. Visualizing and recreating the tools to assist analysts with protecting our nation.
Master Level:
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
Position Description:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Experience:
14+ Years’ experience
Bachelor of Science degree
Required Skills:
Systems Engineer supporting engineering activities including technical planning, requirements management, interface definition, systems integration, verification and validation, and cost/schedule/risk assessments across all CLINs performing COTS and developed application integration
Coordinates with software development teams (e.g., by participating in scrum sessions) to ensure software is integrated according to architecture and interface standards
Leads trade studies / analyses of alternatives and assessments of legacy systems prior to migration
Participates in agile activities including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
Develops or provides input to engineering artifacts
