Job Description

IC-CAP is looking for a remote Portfolio Manager who will have the opportunity to support numerous challenging current and future projects for which your efforts will have a direct impact on the success of supporting some of the nation's most important systems used by the warfighter. IC-CAP is a WOSB/HUBZone family-owned company that has been in business for over 8 years and is currently looking to double the size/revenues of the company over the next year. We currently have approximately 40 members located across the United States and specialize in providing capabilities to maintain, improve, and create analytics for the IC and DoD. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring for IC-CAPs current and future technology and analytical projects The selected individual will work closely with the development and other functional team to ensure the end product matches the expectation and needs of the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitoring contract status, funding, and accuracy of Invoicing for each ongoing program
Help position program contract for Option Years and/or re-competes
Maintain close & collaborative working relationship with prime contractors and program/project managers, including helping them to monitor and manage scope of the projects
Mentor & Support Program/Project Managers in areas such as project schedules, risk management, allocating resources and monitoring progress to meet contractual/performance requirements, to include maximizing award fees or achieving high CPARS
Oversee & directly supervise the tasking of IC-CAP employees in contract support/overhead positions
Develop and post accurate position/labor category (LCAT) descriptions; collaborate with internal/external recruiting to track open positions and assignments; and review, evaluate, and interview candidates to fill open positions within corporate, Prime Contractor or Government-defined timelines
Support the Business Development, Capture and Proposal team in building new business that grows IC-CAP in selected market spaces
Establish close working Partnerships with customers/stakeholders/sponsors as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Professional Experience:
1 - 3 years of experience in Project Management
Experience working with DoD and Intelligence Community customers
Knowledge:
PMP certifications will be a plus.
Agile certification will be a plus.
ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred.
Ability to focus on details and continuous improvement
Thrives in collaborative environment
Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders
Business & IT strategy experience
