Penetration Tester Levels 2 & 3:
IC-CAP is seeking Penetration Testers of multiple levels to support the Intelligence Community Security Coordination Center (IC SCC). The IC SCC is a federal cyber center with a mission to ensure the execution of defensive activities, coordinate security monitoring across the IC, and maintain awareness of security-related threats, events, and incidents.
As a Cyber IA/S Assessor, you will be a member of the Vulnerability Management division providing the IC SCC with CND community evaluations and checks utilizing audits and actual testing to ensure the ability to present the vulnerability of various elements throughout the IC.
In support of the Vulnerability Management Division, the tasks designated to the Penetration Testers may include but are not limited to:
Recommending, operating, managing, and performing the implementation of common security applications, capabilities, databases, and repositories.
Providing alerts and bulletins to IC CND community, tracking, and reporting on IC Element compliance.
Perform IC CND community evaluations and provide recommendations of continual technological and process improvements that minimize risk.
Continually identifying and implementing measurable and proactive processes that secures OS, applications, and hardware patch management.
Perform periodic IC IE and IC Element vulnerability checks through auditing and actual testing.
Perform periodic inventory of all IC Enterprise CND IT capabilities to identify CND gaps/deficiencies.
Continually developing and sustaining the ability to present vulnerability status of each IC Element to key stakeholders and government leadership.
Establish a baseline of vulnerability metrics which identifies and measures CND effectiveness for each IC Element.
Responding to IC SCC issued vulnerability alerts, messages, and warnings.
