Bachelor's degree + 6 years' experience (relevant experience)
Master's Degree + 4 years' experience (relevant experience)
PhD + 2 years' experience (relevant experience)
Level 4:
High School Diploma/ GED + 12 years' experience (relevant experience)
Associates Degree + 10 years' experience (relevant experience)
Bachelor's degree + 8 years' experience (relevant experience)

Position Description:
Responsible for systems engineering and operations for enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) servers.
VDI engineering responsibilities include environment planning, management of license files, and coordinating across functional teams to implement necessary routing, firewall, identity management, and desktop baseline configurations.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring of system health and performance through various means (Splunk, Solarwinds, and Citrix); to ensure proper functionality and performance is maintained across the enterprise VDI instances.
Coordinate with government leadership and regional stakeholders to gather and analyze users' requirements, develop & maintain concept of operations documents, and develop high-level system architectures to satisfy requirements specifications.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma + 8 years
Associate's Degree + 6 years
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
Master's Degree + 2 years
PhD + 0 years
Required Skills:
Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop and Virtual Application engineering
Primary Citrix Software (7.x) - Most important for us, includes Xendesktop Services, Provisioning Services, and Citrix Receiver
Unix (Red hat but other flavors will work)
VMware 5.5 or newer • SQL 2012 or newer
Windows Server 2012 or newer o Windows Server RDS experience
Windows 10 o Managing in a VM environment
PowerShell scripting
Understanding of AD, GPOs, DHCP, and networking
In-depth knowledge of SQL configurations (Stand-alone, Failover-Clusters, AlwaysOn) and ability to effectively troubleshoot
Experience with golden Image design, testing, maintenance, and implementation.
Experience with designing, deploying, managing, and configuring persistent(virtual and physical) workstation environments.
