Job Description
Mobile Device Systems Engineer:
Supports the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures Designs system architectures to include the software hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Level 2:
Skills and Tasks Complex: Develops new concepts and processes. Analyzes root causes and resolves issues. Supports more junior level technicians and specialists in their activities. Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists.
Leadership Management: Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and may also lead a task, project or team.
Guidance: Requires guidance and direction from more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers only when dealing with new, uncertain situations. Provides guidance to lower level technicians and specialists.
Job Description:
Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs
Reviews and deploys DISA STIGS through Mobile Device Management (MDM) Configuration and Compliance Policies via Blackberry, Microsoft Intune, and/or other future MDM systems.
Creates and tests MDM policies on mobile devices such as smart phones, tablets, and laptops.
Creates Build documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for MDM systems for transition to Operations teams.
Configures Apple Business Management to synchronize with organizational MDM systems to enable supervised iOS devices.
Creates, edits, and reviews Microsoft 365 Azure Active directory groups and accounts.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma + 8 years
Associate's Degree + 6 years
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
Master's Degree + 2 years
PhD + 0 years
Training and Certifications:
IAT Level 2
