Job Description
Mid-level Cloud Engineer:
Applies knowledge and expertise with distributed scalable Big Data store, including Accumulo, Cloudbase, or HBase big table, map reduce programming model and technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig, and HDFS. Performs requirements analysis, installation, integration, evaluation,design, development, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and diagnosis or resolution of distributed
algorithms and analytics.
Required:
1-2+ years Cloud Experience (Cloud Design, Cloud Administration, Cloud Architecting)
Experience using and administrating tools such as: Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Confluence, Nexus
Some experience with Kubernetes and/or Rancher
Some experience with AWS cloud administration and configuration
Excellent Communication and client relation skills
A desire to work in the cloud and to always be learning
Considered a plus:
Experience with Government Security procedures, STIGs, SWAP, using Fortify/Sonarqube
Experience working with Government Managed Cloud Solutions (C2S, C2E, etc.)
Experience leading a team using Agile, especially SAFe
Experience with CI/CD and Cross-Domain Solutions
Education and Experience:
9-11 years of experience with Bachelors degree
7-9 years of experience with Masters Degree
