Junior Network and Computer Systems Administrator (Cyber Systems Administrator):
Candidates will be working to support the transformation of all-source analysis with location-based object services. Visualizing and recreating the tools to assist analysts with protecting our nation. We also have positions available in Northern Virginia.
Entry Level:
Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
Work is performed under supervision
Position Description:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
Experience:
3+ years performing system administration in support of DevOps processes / pipelines
Required Skills:
Supports the DevSecOps team by performing configuration and maintenance of the development and test environments
Installs, configures, and maintains the DevSecOps pipeline tools
Coordinates with the CODE and DPaaS teams to identify and provision resources in response to developer needs
Establishes run-time instances of releases across all environments (Development, Systems Integration & Test, and Pre-Production/Staging)
Provides troubleshooting support to all scrum teams
Evaluates and upgrades DevSecOps infrastructure tools
Uses Kanban practices to continuously improve the flow of work and create efficiencies for the DevSecOps pipeline.
Tools, Skills, and Certifications:
CompTIA Security +
Linux, Windows, DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub)
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI poly
