Job Description
Journeyman Multi-Media Specialist GIS Data Manager:
IC-CAP has a future opportunity for a Journeyman Multi-Media Specialist GIS Data Manager. This position is located at NCE in Springfield, VA. The position requires a current TOP SECRET security clearance with active SCI access. A CI Polygraph is required, but the candidate may start work and schedule the polygraph within the first 30 days.
Skills:
Knowledge of requirements identification and solutions that comply with NGA standards.
ADO experience.
Experience with web-based application development.
Experience working in a mixed Unix and Windows environment.
Experience with ESRI products, ArcGIS or ArcObjects.
Experience with SMS (remote maintenance).
Experience with ArcGIS Desktop user skills.
Duties:
Demonstrated experience with the following tools: Relational Databases to include PostgreSQL, SQLite; NoSQL Databases to include Elastic Search; and, MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud:
Experience with relational database design principles:
Ability to develop and administer relational databases:
Experience assisting with integrating relational databases as back-end data storage/retrieval structures for analytic tools:
Understanding of spatial analysis functions of PostGIS:
Experience integrating relational databases with web-based user interfaces:
Ability to document workflows and database functionality.
Education and Experience:
Years of Experience: 3 to 10 (bachelor’s degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience.)
Security Clearance:
The position requires a current TOP SECRET security clearance with active SCI access.
