Director of Growth and Proposals:
You can work from home anywhere in the US with occasional travel to Washington DC.
Description:
The Director of Growth and Proposals is one of IC-CAP's most critical hires. Reporting directly to the President this leadership position will be responsible for the identification, qualification, development, and winning federal work while simultaneously building and leading a team. The position requires strong leaderships skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to ensure we are bringing value to our customers and our technology partners helping drive growth for the business. This individual will be held accountable for filling open positions, day to day operations of active contracts, staff management, business development. In addition, this individual will participate and provide direction on future work, helping establish ‘road map’ for future work. Reports to President/Co-Founder.
Responsibilities Include:
This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves multi-faceted (Business Development/Capture/Proposal) position leading a small team focused on growth, development, and strategy.
Help define our mission, create our strategy, and build our team to accomplish current and future opportunities.
Create a roadmap for future work - help build IC-CAP's future
Brief the executive team on daily operations, emerging trends, opportunities, challenges, and risk.
Engage with our customer’s teams to share insights.
Demonstrate the ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, and assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on pricing.
Work with and lead the recruiting team to find candidates, perform interviews, and staff open positions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Strong Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to grow with a business
Desired Qualifications
Experience in the Intelligence Community
Experience in the Department of Defense
TS/SCI Clearance
