Job Description
Data Analyst:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying patterns, analyzing, mining of data, developing dashboards, etc. into automated system reports for client presentation.
We foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Analytics and Visualization Services to the Government client. The Data Analyst will be trusted to work on Analytics and Visualization Services engineering solutions existing and emerging data technologies. In this role, a typical day will include:
Developing data visualization resources and strategy to strategically increase enterprise view of data within customer’s specific context.
Engineering solutions for presenting hierarchical views of systems status and usage, and providing single-pane-of-glass enterprise views for a decision advantage.
Creating visual displays for collection system usage statistics from algorithm output, etc. (e.g., dashboards and automated system reports).
Measuring individual and aggregate end user desktop experience including login times, use of common web sites, and use of common core desktop applications.
Reviewing and analyzes collected data to determine the performance and health of a system or network; assists in developing, implementing, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators.
Identifying new patterns and areas requiring attention or improvement.
Mapping and performing data transformation (database development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and
documentation preparation).
Performing data analysis interpretation and data management duties.
Collaborating with domain experts to ensure data interpret ability.
Performing requirement analysis functions.
Required qualifications:
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
Self-motivated, adaptable to change, forward-thinking.
Familiarity with existing and emerging data mining technology.
Experience data mining within trouble ticket and event monitoring systems.
Ability to develop data analytics and visualization solutions using Tableau, Python, R, etc.
Familiarity with ticketing system(s).
Familiarity with event monitoring system(s).
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma + 12 years
Associate's Degree + 10 years
Bachelor's Degree + 8 years
Master's Degree + 6 years
PhD + 4 years
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
