Cybersecurity Information Assurance/Security Assessor:
IC-CAP is seeking interested candidates for a future position as a Cybersecurity Information Assurance/Security Assessor supporting the IC Security Coordination Center. This position is available in Reston, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. In this position you will work within the vulnerability management division of the program to satisfy goals including recommending, operating, managing, and performing the implementation of common security applications and performing periodic audits and tests to determine vulnerability status. The division is also responsible for maintaining OS, application, and hardware patch repositories.
Job Functions:
Ensure that the architecture and design of DoD information systems are functional and secure.
As needed, design and develop IA or IA enabled products, interface specifications, and approaches to secure the environment.
Assess threats to the environment..
Provide inputs on the adequacy of security designs and architectures.
Participate in risk assessment during the certification and accreditation process.
Education and Experience:
Level 3:
High School Diploma + 10 years
Associate's Degree + 8 years
Bachelor's Degree + 6 years
Master's Degree + 4 years
PhD + 2 years
Level 2:
High School Diploma + 8 years
Associate's Degree + 6 years
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
Master's Degree + 2 years
Qualifications:
IAW DoD Directive 8570 IAT II (Prior to onboarding)
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI
