Job Description
Cybersecurity Analyst Advisor Level 4:
Responsible for strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities. Position may require evening, weekend or shift-work (depending on operational tempo).
LEVEL 4:
Skills and Tasks: Exceptionally Complex, Inter-Discipline, Inter-Organizational. Can perform tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and or managers not performed at Level 3 due to the size and/or complexity of the tasks.
Leadership/Management: May work individually or as a key member of a senior leadership team. Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
Guidance: Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers. Directs multiple contractor and subcontractor teams through to project completion.
Functional duties:
Identify network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators.
Perform forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence.
Monitor for fraud, waste and abuse, including content inappropriate to the workplace, Illegal Activity, Productivity Lossand Non-Compliant Activity, as well as Identity
Leakage (PII).
Utilization of tools such as Archer, Splunk, Proofpoint, etc
Prepare case evidence and incident reports.
Work on special projects as assigned.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff member
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma + 12 years
Associate's Degree + 10 years
BA/BS and 8+ years of related experience or a combination of: (Education Degree from an Accredited Institute in an Area Applicable to the Position)
Master's Degree + 6 years
PhD + 4 years
Training and Certifications:
Security+ or other approved DoD 8570 Baseline certification.
DoD 8570 CSSP Auditor certification within six months of start date
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (or able to obtain CI Poly).
